Why not spend all 30 million on the stamp


True they do not make 30 million dollar stamps but whats to say he can't buy the stamp for 30 million they were negotiating prices?

That part made me think he should've just bought a bunch of expensive stamps and mailed them all. It would at least have gotten him half way to his goal.

That's why the campaign was such a good idea. A great money-sucker. Another good idea would have been to make a movie. A really bad movie.

The terms specifically said he could only gamble away 5%. Even when he tried to do that by betting on all the longshots he ended up winning more than he gambled.

maybe I am not thinking very clearly but I would invite about 20-30 friends, rent some formal clothing and buy them all passage on a trans Atlantic cruise

OK how much does all that cost? A few hundred thousand dollars? You've got a month to spend $30 million. That's a medium sized drop in the bucket...
