Small Wonder or Seinfeld?
Which was the better sitcom? Like if you had to take only one show to a different planet, which would it be of the two?

shareI haven't seen SW in over 10 years. But I can't imagine this being funnier than Seinfeld. No way.

Small Wonder! Without a doubt, no questions asked. There are a million shows like Seinfeld, but Small Wonder was one of a kind.
Now, only if ALL seasons of Small Wonder were to make it onto DVD so that I could take the COMPLETE series to that other planet!

Religion is simply a set of beliefs about the nature of our existance.
One last thing, God does exist, so you are wrong.
To the OP: this is a silly topic. You're asking if we like 1 1980's show better than 1 90's show. The 80's and 90's were different periods.
Small Wonder was from 1985 to 1989. That's far more 80's than Seinfeld which ran from late 89 to 99. That spanned all the 90's = 1990 to 1999.
you cannot call Seinfeld an 80's show at all. The references made in the run of the show were all 90's culture references. you can tell that it's the 90's on the show where as Small Wonder you can tell it's the 80's.
And I love both shows. The differences though are too great. Seinfeld was a comedy for adults, not for kids. Small wonder was clearly made for family entertainment and children's entertainment. It was a kids' show
Both are wonderful, but I'll choose "Seinfeld". "Small Wonder" is a great series though, so cheesy and funny.
You can mention Corn flakes, I'll think of Marilyn Monroe
Well it was a KID'S SHOW. People seem to forget that. The lead stars were actually Tiffany Brissette and Jamie Supiran, who were kids/minors from 1985 to 1989. Kids tuned in to see what fantastic thing Vicki would do next. It's very much a part of 80's kids' culture.
You can't say that about Seinfeld. When Seinfeld was on TV, I remember it was mainly watched by adults. I didn't even see it and I was already a teenager in the 90's. I heard "college" students in their early 20's and people in their 30's talk about the show. The humor in Seinfeld is too adult. They do a lot of sex jokes - the infamous "contest" about which of them could go the longest without masturbating.
Comparing Small Wonder to Seinfeld are like comparing apples to oranges. One's an 80's kid's show the other a 90's adult comedy show.
There's no comparison.
Small Wonder all the way!!
