Favorite Scene
When I was a kid and in love with this movie, my favorite scene had to have been when Hillary's boobs lit up. Made any adolescent boy like myself very happy.
shareWhen I was a kid and in love with this movie, my favorite scene had to have been when Hillary's boobs lit up. Made any adolescent boy like myself very happy.
shareCouple scenes that made me laugh out loud:
Dr. Flammond: "They are holding my daughter and they'll kill her unless I complete the Polaris mine by sunday."
Nick: "Sunday? That's Simchas Torah."
Also, when random black guy comes out and high fives Chocolate Mousse and shouts "My man!" after he kills all the Germans with ridiculous shooting skill.
My favs:
"Driver, this isn't the Howard Johnson's"
"I am Albert Potato"
The wrestling scene "Viva La France"
"Neek!"
"And I'll miss you most of all Scarecrow!"

This movie was pure genius! I agree. I grew up laughing to this film even before I understood half the jokes in it. It still holds up today and I'm 33! This movie is simply funnier than airplane period. Yeah maybe not every joke is funny, but the great thing about it is they just keep'em coming even in the credits. It never lets up and most work and some don't. The scriptis also f*ing hilarious.
To many scenes to name but some great laughers to me were:
Cedric.. when the car takes him to the wrecking yard, then he says..."Driver why have you stopped this isn't the Howard Johnson's." Then burns the PCH entry.
Nigel getting it from the bull...Next scene is walking bo-legged...Then says "I learned from the greatest minds...Marx, Lennin, L. Ron Hubbard"
Or nigel still wearing his Blue Lagoon loin cloth when they reunite and the whole Blue Lagoon flashback....fishing bannanas out of the ocean, garage door opener made of bamboo..LOL
AHHHH man..this movie is just classic. I feel like watching it now.
Skeet Surfin
"Its totally bitchin, ridin waves and blasting pigeons"
also, after the train leaves off, the guy running after the tree
The little German is a classic.
Cracks me up everytime I see it.
the whole scene with the cow with painted spots and wearing wellies. class!
shareI like when the calf sucks on Nigel's "utter".
"Why are we always in such a bloddy rush?!"
HAHA.

Finally somebody is mentioning the cow, one of the best comic scenes I have ever seen. Using a real cow is brilliant, but when it escapes the herd and run around the castle ... it kills me every time.
So, what do you think?
- Does it come in black?
Batman Begins
One of the most under-rated, underappreciated, comedies of all time. Up there with Blazing Saddles and Airplane.
I love the scene in the restaurant where the audience is convinced to ask a singer, not Nick Rivers, to sing. Nick goes up, shocking the planned singer.
also love the "roughly detailed" plans drawn on the ground.
My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.
This may be obscure, but my favorite line is when Nick and Hilary are dancing in the beginning and she is talking about America (her uncle escaped during the Carter administration) and is Nick's response to her critism of America.
I paraphasing the first part
"Come on your not giving it a chance. We've got the Liberty Bell, Disneyland on both coasts. It's happening!"
Just always struck me funny.
okay guys, I haven't watched this movie in awhile and the video store in town here doesn't have it. is trhere a crazy trppy pacman scene? email it back. [email protected]

I can't believe no one came up with the scene where Val Kilmer, looking desperate and exhausted, counts the "days" in his cell: "Martin! I'm glad to see you. I've been here for 20 minutes already..." - Pure genius!
shareFavourite Parts: "I know a little German- he is sitting over there " My boyfriend definetlet laughed for like an hour and Iw as like wow.
other part is when they are like.... escargot, croissant and Deja Vu.."Have we not met before Monsier" Oh I died.
Dwight Schrute: Your pencils are creating a health hazard. I could fall and pierce an organ.

Love this film, first time I saw it was on TV when I had tonsilitus, and I laughed so hard I strained my god damn throat. It now ranks as one of my all time top comedies.
One scene that has been missed that always makes me laugh is when Hilary and 'Neek' knock on the door of the Potato Farm, And Albert Potato opens the hatch of the door at eye level, but when he opens the door to let them in he's a total midget!
Oh, and the Ballet scene, where some posh spectators are dressed in their best in the background, and hot dogs and beers are being passed along the row. Brilliant!
Any scene involving the cow.
Most of my favourite scenes have been mentioned already, and there are too many to mention, but the dvd I ordered came through the post today, so we're watchin it again tonight.
