I had heard this was supposed to be one of the funniest movies ever made but at most I just chuckled at some parts. When an hour or so had passed, I had given up on trying to find this movie hilarious and watched it till it ended just because I almost never stop watching a movie, I have to see the whole thing before judging.
Was it something I didn't understand? Was there a reason I just didn't think this movie was so great?

I didn't like the film either. The most interesting thing I could draw from it was that I had a dream where the band appeared at the end of an episode of Supermarket Sweep! And then a zombie apocalypse broke out.....

It is jangling-keys-in-your-face level comedy.

shareIt helps if you grew up in the era and you are/were into hard rock and metal as a lot of the stuff that happens in the film happened in real life to a lot of bands. Even the Stonehenge thing was based on fact.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.
