I never found it that funny, tbh. I just used to watch it for Daryl Hannah.
shareI agree, it's a comedy but it's not the type which makes you laugh much. It's just interesting and something not to take too seriously. We recently re-watched Ace Ventura as a family and that was a movie which made us all laugh, despite some moments which have clearly not aged well.
