Avatar Similarities
Noticed many similarities and wonder if James Cameron was inspired by this classic?
shareBoth have sprawling backgrounds, but "Avatar" is about a mercenary "going native" and "renouncing violence" to spare the natives who are expressing dissent at Earth occupation and education.
I think that's pretty far from Nausicaa's ecological and socio-political message.
