shocking and so so good. Epitomizes to me what is movies are all about. It has this punk rock sensibility that I fine itresistible!!
It certainly foregrounds and distills the stuff one loves about De Palma's cinema - perhaps moreso than any other one of his films.

It's a good movie, for the most part, but best of the '80s? Come on now. Also, punk rock sensibility? You need an education as to what punk rock is about.

Raging Bull, Ordinary People, Gandhi, Back to the Future, Psycho II, Superman II, the Color Purple, This is Spinal Tap, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Coal Miner's Daughter, Reds, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Testament, Terms of Endearment, War of the Roses, Tender Mercies, Absence of Malice, a Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 3, Airplane, Star Trek II, Aliens...no, Body Double is not the best movie of the 80s. It's not even DePalma's best movie.
