Your favorite classical 'song' (or whatever)

I know most of us here like classical music and there are some performers here. I have a question: What is the single classical composition that touches you the most deeply?

I'm not a particular sensitive person but I'll start this off by citing a a work that reduces me to a quivering blob of protoplasm. From Jules Massenet's Thaïs, the beautiful Méditation for violin.

The Barber of Seville by Rossini - a wonderful sweeping joyous tune.
Symphony number 40 by Mozart - a sad yet heroic song about adversity and perseverance.

without a doubt, Dance of the Knights AKA Montagues and Capulets by Sergei Prokofiev. it so f-ckin amazing, it's like a punch in the gut everytime i hear it. never heard something so powerful. the first time i heard is when i saw Caligula (also a brilliant film) and i was awestruck. i also love Fur Elise, Requiem and The Barber of Seville overture.

Dance of the Tumblers by Tchaikovsky is definitely up there, as well as In The Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg and Trout Quintet by Schubert. Definitely a Romantic era fan here!
