I dont care what anyone says but this movie rocks!!!! i used to watch it heaps and every now and again i give it a refreshing watch... The dancing was good, memoriable lines and the music soundtrack was great, this movie is staying alive :P
shareIt was the perfect representation of dance in the 80's. These people probably lived and breathed dance and unfortunately most of them are no longer dancing. It is a career that you give your life to and live in crappy places just to dance. John Travolta was in INCREDIBLE shape and he looked great and his dancing ability had so much progressed. I thought Frank Stallone did a great job and Cynthia Rhodes is phenomenal in anything she does. I remember seeing it when it came out and there were crowds waiting. It is one of the ten or so movies I have on my iPad that I love to watch over and over. I wanted to be a dancer in another life anyway but I will always love this movie and the music. (It doesn't really matter if anyone else likes it or not...it won't change how I feel) I just wanted to leave a comment to agree with others that liked it too.
