Friday The 13th (1980) or Sleepaway Camp (1983) and why?

I've only seen Friday The 13th, I have never seen Sleepaway Camp yet so I can't really say which one I like better.

Friday the 13th for me. I'm in the minority who love slasher films, and even more in the minority in that I'm a slasher fan who really didn't like Sleepaway Camp.

They both have their pros and cons. I think that Friday the 13th is the better movie, but Sleepyaway Camp is more fun.

I agree Friday the 13th is the better movie, I think Sleep Away Camp has more interesting characters.

Sleepaway Camp is more entertaining and has a more interesting storyline.

Friday the 13th (1980).

Though I'm due a rewatch of Sleepaway Camp (1983).

This should be a triple threat match by the way, The Burning (1981) is similar to both these films.

Friday the 13th is miles better than Sleepaway Camp (which is really only notable for the 'reveal' at the end).
