Of course, De Niro and Lewis did great too, but Bernhard steals every scene she is in. She is eerily hilarious. I just wanted more, more, more of her.

I agree she did an amazing job. I did not find her funny at all though! Just terrifying and creepy.

I loved the part when she said "I just want to be black, ooh I'm having a good time.." Would like to see her in something else. She was great in this.

I really enjoyed her singing scene, thought it was actually quite beautiful!

Saw the film on 35mm print tonight, presented by Richard Linklater. Fun times!

she was great! creepy but smart and passionate ,crazy at the same time! She stole the spotlight!

She was awesome. In this same era, I used to enjoy her as a guest on Letterman.
