This was the best Stephen King film adaption, best Christopher Walken performance and best David Cronenberg film. Excellent cast with special mention to Tom Skerritt, Nicholas Campbell, Colleen Dewhurst and Martin Sheen. Excellent photography and atmosphere.

I actually like this film much more than I like the book which is odd. The main reason being that I felt the connection and love between Johnny and Sarah was so much more warm and strong in the film. In the book the whole situation for them just didn't feel as utterly tragic and heartbreaking as it felt in the movie.

I don't know, Donald Trump seems to be making a great abdation to the story.

shareI swear I read somewhere it was one Stephen King's favorite adaptions. Cronenberg actually stuck to the story more closely unlike Kubrick.
