What movies scared you as a kid?

For me i'm an 80's child, born in June in the early 80s which is the year this movie came out and i had it on video since i was 2 as this one scared me when that Big Rat at the entrence appeared.

Other movies that scared me as a kid:

"Making Contact (a.k.a. Joey)": Who remembers this dark and bizarre German horror fantasy movie? about a 9 year old boy who gains psychic and telekinetic powers and battles a demon possessed ventriloquist dummy and other demons. I saw this movie in a theater when i was 4 in St. Louis back in 1986 when it came out here in the states and it scared the living crap out of me especially that creepy little bastard of a dummy.

"Magic": Remember this creepy 1978 horror thriller with Anthony Hopkins and an evil dummy? this other dummy horror movie scared the piss out of me when i was 4 the same year in 1986 but i rented this on video and it scared me crapless.

"Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night": Remember this creepy 1987 animated movie? i saw this in a theater after christmas in 1987 when i was 5 and it creeped me out big time especially that terrifying scene where an evil puppeteer who is the minion of the title villain tortures and turns pinocchio back into a puppet.

"Oh wow, good Nyborg"

Superman III when the evil woman gets sucked in the super computer and turned in to a robot. Holy crap did that haunt me for a bit. Also, Mr. Boogedy a Disney film.

Ugh I hate that movie!!!!!!!!!!!! That was freaky, Superman III.

I am not a troll, but I believe in them since I see them every day on IMDB.

I did not like "Watership Down". It was just too serious. I remember going to see an animated movie "The Mouse and His Child" and not liking it for some reason. Typically I wasn't scared of any movies I saw since I didn't see many horror movies anyway.

Too many to list....

THE SECRET OF NIMH had it's frightening moments, lol.

I got news for 'em. There's gonna be hell to pay. 'Cause I ain't Daddy's little boy no more.

We have almost the same birthday JohnMcClane, I was born 3 days later. :)

Several that have already been mentioned:

A Mouse and His Child - the toy getting torn up and destroyed, for some reason the never-ending repeat of mirror images.

Return to Oz - Wheelies and hall of heads

The Peanut Butter Solution - scary as hell. Creepy old dude kidnapping all the kids in town and doping the one up to make paintbrushes from his hair.

Unico - The entire town being turned into weird spongy block people.

The Secret of NIMH and Darby O 'Gill had parts that scared me, but the aforementioned movies creeped me out the whole way through and gave me nightmares.

~The internet? Is that thing still around?~

I've never been scared to the point of nightmares by a movie but these managed to creep me out even though I loved them.
Snow White & The Seven Dwarves-When Snow White is lost in the woods and there's all those eyes.
Fantasia-Night on Bald Mountain
Dumbo-Pink elephants
The Wizard Of Oz-The witch
Sleeping Beauty-Maleficiant
The Brave Little Toaster-The part with the firefighter clown. I blame this movie and Poltergeist for my fear of clowns.
Beetlejuice-I don't remember much about this one but I remember it being really creepy.
Ferngully-Hexxus
Return To Oz-When Dorothy wakes up the head, the other heads scream, and she gets chased by headless Mombi.
Care Bears Movie-This is going to sound weird but that demon in the book.
The Dark Crystal-The skeksis (vulture people)
Watership Down-Capt. Holly's flashback
All Dogs Go To Heaven-Charlie's nightmare
The Secret Of NIMH-The testing flashback
Poltergeist-See above comment about clowns.
Jaws-I thought there was a shark in the bathtub lol.
Alien-The title creature
Mirror Mask-Am I the only one who remembers this movie? Me and a friend saw it when it first came out.
