Feast for the eyes (FYI, yes I'm a girl) [Pant...pant...drool] This was a great/suspenseful film. His character in this is such a departure from his typical good-guy, romantic-leading man persona. Eerily convincing playing an ambitious psychopath (and yet I was rooting for him in the end). This type of movie makes me wish he would have been cast in more non-Superman roles.
sharei agree with you that Chris should've been cast in more 'non-Superman' roles. he did have SO much dramatic ability on the 'other' side of the card. there's the sappy dramatic roles, which he's good at, and the 'psycho' dramatic/thriller roles - which in this we see he's good at. he just turns in a second when he yells at Caine's character. i was like "oo sexy when he's pissed" but then he realllllly wanted to kill him and i was like "ew he's creepy... and good at it. i see potential here!"

As for drugs - Um yeah... I would probably get high and then be normal. I'm crazy enough as it is, I don't need to be doing drugs.
To explain myself, seeing as the post was done HOW long ago?, um... I'm thinking I was in the frame of mind where what I MEANT was this: "Christopher takes roles that are very sedate: normal, sane, calm cool & collected types.. He needed to be given a chance to break out of his safety/comfort zone & play more psycho types" hence my last sentence talking about he did drama & psycho role very well in THIS movie...
So yeah - It all sort links together, but I guess I wasn't succinct enough for you. My apologies.
BUT I would request that you don't jump on the drug bandwagon & say that someone's doing dope just because their post doesn't make sense. It's a complete mischaracterization of me and frankly I don't care to have my reputation (as stupid as that might be, since this is the net - not real life) tainted because you assumed. Just because someone's post doesn't make sense doesn't mean they're high; I may just mean they are uninformed (also known as being legitimately ignorant to the facts) and need to do their research.
Me? The latter of the 2. I've not SEEN his movies; seen his filmography? YES. Doesn't mean I've seen his acting in them.

Agree, I was pretty much blown away by his performance and truly miss his potential.
