Harrison Ford plays an insecure rapists who shoots and murders people for being robots. The frame is always cluttered with random smoke, glass and garbage. Characters make stupid facial expressions and dress in the most unbelievable clothing imaginable including a see through plastic jacket and fucking glow in the dark rings. Absolutely terrible.

share"Blade Runner" is not a movie one initially likes; it took me years to warm up to it. I'm glad I persisted though because "Runner" is much, much more than a movie about "an insecure rapist." I'm sure on my first viewing I would have harbored sentiments not dissimilar to your own -- but, like I said, I refused to write off "Runner," and eventually conceded it had depths my knee-jerk reaction didn't recognize.
