Perhaps The Most Overrated Movie Ever?
Don't get me wrong, it's a decent film.
It's just not anywhere near as good as they hype.
Guys want a movie about falling in love with a hot robot woman and living happily ever after. This one comes closest, so it's a great classic movie. It was needlessly dark, but people are afraid to have a robot mate. It's an unknown. Might be a disaster. It's like 1950's space movies where there are giant spiders that eat people wherever you go in space. Which good ol' Ridley revived with A L I E N.
