Does anybody know what ever happened to Malvert the Janitor from Student Bodies, or "The Stick", as his professional name is indicated as. I'm desperate to personally find him, to see if I can get him to perform at my friends wedding. I don't know his real name, or if he's still in the comedy circuit, or even alive, so I'm currrently stuck. Please e-mail me if you have any information regarding this individual.

I saw Student Bodies a few days ago and came to this board for the sole purpose of finding info on The Stick, but there's hardly any! Malvert and his disturbing-yet-hillarious double-jointed limbs flailing about made the film definitely worth watching. He's too unique to have just faded into obscurity. Is he... still alive? I really want to know what happened to him. Doesn't anyone have anything about him to share? Please? :(

I looked into the matter, it was just someone who purportedly looked like him- I contacted that women, believe me. So, with my best friend's wedding only 5 days from now, and not STICK in sight, we are seriosly lacking entertainment.

I love the movie Student Bodies and was googling around earlier in the year. I recall reading that The Stick had died. I will see if I can confirm/deny this.

shareStudent Bodies is a horrible, horrible movie, but I actually sat through the whole thing for one, and only one reason -- Malvert. That guy is so cool. He tosses keys through his legs without even leaning down! The Stick is the best part of Student Bodies. I'm so glad there's a thread about him here, since he MADE that movie.

Any news on The Stick? I got to thinking about him today and watched some of his scenes on YouTube. The guy had so much potential.
shareI believe Fangoria did an article on Student Bodies around the time Scary Movie was released. If I'm not mistaken the director spoke briefly about "The Stick" and said he passed away in the late 80's. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he gave his real name as well. I'll see if I can find the issue in my Box O' Fangos. I'll check back when I have more info.
