OMG I cried so hard !!!

I used to watch this movie when I was little and I saw it the other night and I couldn't help crying. I'm 17 and I rarely cry at a movie, but when the old lady left the fox in the forrest, it was so saddd. Anyone feel the same way ??

It's a very heartbreaking scene.

Hah, I just watched it for the first time ever 15 minutes ago, and yes!! When she left Tod, I was crying....and I'm 41 :D

It also reminded me of my cat, who left this world barely 2½ years ago. I miss him so, so scenes like this really get to me.

That part always makes me cry too. While not my favourite Disney movie, and not their best, I think it is very charming and underrated.

That scene is quite depressing.

To the OP, YES, I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY! This movie Still makes me BAWL!!!

I hear ya, man. I'd cry everytime I watched this movie - my parents stopped showing it to me when I was little because they were sick of having to calm me down. Disney does it like no other.

I rather liked Baines. We shared the same bootmaker.

I cried EVERY time I saw the old woman leaving him. This was my favorite Disney movie as a kid (prob favorite movie period). I just loved the friendship theme...and yeah. Old lady leaving him scene always touched me so deeply. It's just so sad! The song...and the tears...that's why I love it so much. Makes me cry. Poor Todd!

My brother cries at that scene, I left him watching it while I went to work, when I came back during the final scene I asked him did he like it and he said he cried like a baby when she left him. I myself only cry at the end, they'll never see each other again! "And we'll always be best friends forever!" "Yea forever!" it gets me every time!

That's right, we're superheroes....you love us.

i totally cry but you know what made cry the most? my 32 year old older brother cried too. to understand this you have to know my brother. he's basically badass w/out the haughtiness. like he's legit (i cant sttand the pple thats all talk) but he rarely ever shows his compassionate side. i was watching it and he was waiting to take my mom somewhere so he was forced to watch it w me.. and i looked over and all i saw were tears. he didnt even wipe them away, he said he didnt care.

of course he refuses to talk about that moment and just calls it a stupid movie but a couple of months ago he out of the blue asked me what happened at the end. instead i just gave him my copy LOL

so ya. every time i see it i think of my brother who actually has a heart.

I absolutely love this movie. The Fox and the Hound and The Lion King are my favorite Disney movies.

When the movie came out in the theatre, I went and saw it with my boyfriend. We were teenagers, about 18 years old at the time, and we ended up sitting behind a little girl who, during the time the widow took Tod to the forest, ended up sobbing her heart out - just bawling poor thing...

My boyfriend leaned over to me and commented about the little girl; something like, 'can you believe this kid', or something to that effect.

Then he glanced over at me. I had tears streaming down my face...not quite sobbing the way she was, but getting awfully close!

Sure wish I thought to bring kleenex with me 'cause I sure needed it!

It's like looking into an obnoxious little mirror, isn't it?

I am 23 and I still bawl like a baby every time Todd is left in the woods. The song even makes me cry. Definately a heart wrenching scene.

I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid. It had been years since I had seen it and then one day my friend and I decided to watch it together (we were both 17 at the time). I am not one that cries often in life and I have never cried at a movie before, but I will say that THAT scene (yes, the woods scene)...OMG. My eyes welled up pretty badly and I think the only reason I did not full-on weep was because I was watching with my friend (who was sobbing, btw). This was some years ago and I have not watched the movie since, but I am sure this scene would still get me. Man, this is supposed to be for kids! I do not recall being so affected by this while watching it as a child. Still have never cried at a movie, this is the only one to make me misty - and it's a cartoon! Dang you, Disney! I think this even warrants tears from grown men, it's that moving, IMO.
