This movie has haunted me for years!! For the longest time I didn't even dare speak of it for fear of awakening whatever it might be. I would love to see what someone like Rob Zombie could do with this deeply terrifying tale.

shareNo way. This is an amazing movie and I think since it happened in the 70s we need to leave it as it is. I love this movie because it has the old vintage feel to it and it holds true to the time period it took place in too. Remaking it will just ruin the whole thing.

Love it! In the Rob Zombie Remake Carla will be a stripper and the Entity will be a Redneck with a beard, long hair and tats. Also, we will see the childhood of the Entity and that he had a rough upbringing, so that we understand how he'd become so evil. You know, to make it more scary. Can't wait!

It's an...interesting concept, which is quite hard to pull off. This film did a good job of it with many talented people working together on the film. I'm not sure how the film could be bettered.
Also Rob Zombie would be a horrible choice to helm the project.
