shareNever seen it.
shareGenuine question Iffy762: if you've never seen it what are you doing here? Like, what causes you to look at the discussion board of a tv show you've never watched?
shareSometimes if you reply to a discussion it will keep it in view on the front page and that will remind other people to take a look and tell me more about the show. I've heard good things about this show so I'd be interested to know more about it. Sometimes I reply because I'm interested in that topic and having it in my own list of past posts makes it easier for me to search for it later. Sometimes I reply just because I think the original poster will feel sad and lonely if no one replies to their topic. I think we all like to get replies to our posts. :)

shareI'm Australian and I love this show.
Although a lot of the jokes are very English-oriented and I only get about half the stuff they say outside of the general plot of each episode. For example, I didn't know what "Gordon Bennett" meant but it was obvious it was used like, "Oh god" in their dialogue. You just kind of pickup on how the different things they say meant in place of more general terms, similar to Red Dwarf (though this is done on a more broader sense). If they referenced something you don't know about or understand, you just go along with it and have a great time because the characters were all so good and fun together.
But at the end of the day, each episode had a strong sense of family responsibility and bond, and that is no more evident than in the episode where Del takes a bashing to protect Rodney. I'll never forget it.
Minder is another similar show which I remember fondly.
I am an American and I love it.
