Cathy Moriarty. WOW!

Boy was she fierce in this movie! Considering it was her very first acting job, she more than held her own. Loved her confrontation scenes with De Niro. There she was, only 20 years of age, and not intimidated by one of the greatest actors alive.
It's such a shame her performance isn't talked about as much as the others in the film.
A natural, born talent.

She was 18 even when they started filming it. Amazing.

Really? She looked about 40. Not trying to be offensive or rude, just an observation.

That's what I said when I saw her. She looked WAY older than 18. I thought she was in her 40's too

It wasn't a bikini. Also bikinis weren't invented in the '40s.

Still, excellent scene.

She was outstanding in this, but never knew she was only 18-20 during the filming of this. Vicki was supposed to be 15 when she met Jake, yet she looked 30. The fashion, the hair nets, her attitude all made her seem much older and wiser than 15. Guess gals grew up fast back then.

She certanly deserved an Oscar nomination. She's up there with Cybill Sheperd and Sharon Stone as the best De Niro partners
