Best completely comical moment?

What are the best moments that are all-out comedy, with probably no seriousness, even below the surface? One of the best is when Robert Loggia is doing a Jolsen imitation in blackface, and Moses Gunn (who is black), instead of getting mad, just gives a very weary look.

It's been way too many years since I've seen this thing, but what I still really remember is all the endless conversations that are continuously taking place in the background. The attention to detail in the audio track is one of the best in all of cinema. Amazingly creative and truly magical.

If you listen to the movie at a loud enough volume (or with headphones), you'll catch all sorts of endless commentaries and non sequiturs that add humor and/or depth to what's taking place in the foreground. I can still remember gasping for breath with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard during some of these moments.

Truly a priceless gem...

Bison.

Baseball lies to us seductively, and we know we're being seduced, and we don't complain.

Col. Fell looks at the skull on his desk and says, "Don't blame me, I told them not to operate".

Perhaps not the funniest moment, but one of my favourites is at the begining when you can only see the castle but hear the dialouge within, and Cutshaw says that Robert Browning caught the clap from Charlotte and Emily Bronte. The Major wearily replies, "Shut up you crazy bastard."

"When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk."

Robert Loggia flying past Stacey Keach with the jetpack, immediately followed by a "medical" team attending to him, with one of the mental patents dressed as a female nurse despite being a bearded man!

Have to go with the card game scene. When he said all the wildcards I just fell over laughing.

I love the physical comedy of the off-screen Sir Lawrence tugging at Fell's pants.

"I think it's a dog...dammit, not the pants!"
