At Drama College here in England, we were told by a well-respected tutor, that to learn from watching quality young actors, we should watch Al Pacino in The Godfather PartII and Kristy McNichol in Little Darlings.
There was a roomful of quizzical faces.
This has always stuck with me over the years and I try to watch Little Darlings, whenever it comes on television and her performance really is fantastic.
I wish she had gone on to pursue a career to the top - a great talent.
Does anyone agree?

I was so totally in love with her as a teen! I always thought she was such a cutie. I never went for the "hot" women like Farrah Fawcett at the time, I liked the "cute" ones, like Kristy , Meg Ryan, Lauren Tewes (Julie on Love Boat), and Jessica Lang in Tootsie. Adding to the list as an adult: Diane Kruger in {National Treasure, Wicker Park}; Natalie Zea, Jennifer Esposito, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Heidi Klum (OK she's hot!), Eva Longoria and Megan Kelly!
