like it alot, but what happened at the end?????

ok, im just curious, i know lou went back to AC with grace but did they still stay in the same apt building? because they showed a building being demolished at the end, was that the same building they lived in? and wat about sally? they showed her driving but where was she goin???? back to AC or someplace else??? that was never confirmed...... or did she go to france? please tell me... thnx.

It's pretty much all up to your own interpretation. We know that Lou and Grace are going to have to leave that building, eventually. That much is mentioned earlier in the film.

Sally has some cash and Lou tells her to "ditch the car soon". Can we assume she goes to France? I will.

thnx, i kinda figured she would go to france, but then i thought maybe back to AC cause she wanted to be a dealer in monty carlo... :)

I always thought that she had been through quite enough in Atlantic City and was going to use the cash and opportunity to split. Although, the way she laughs at the "Sunrise Semester" show about France.....hmm. Perhaps she's just heading somewhere, anywhere, to begin again.

Since she was fired in Atlantic City and since "Dave" "ruined things for her so she couldn't work in Vegas".....I think dealing might not be in her future.

yea, you never know in these movies.... i thought the part in the casino where she went wild was kinda funny... lol... slappin the guy that killed dave.... hey, i have a question, hope its not too personal.. whered u get the name , Christopher Pike? cause i read mystery books by him, hes an auther for young adult readers... well anyway was just curious, it surprized me...

reply

Man, I sure do get that question alot. Chris Pike must be a very popular author! However, I'm a "Trekkie". Christopher Pike just happens to be the name of the character who was captain of the Enterprise before James Kirk.

oh, haha. well sorry... but it is a funny coincidence...... i think i might watch AC again tonight.... i havent seen it in a few weeks.. :) oh heres a question, do u like horror movies? i love em... was just wonderin.... anyway, sorry if i sound random, but its funny how AC has changed so much..... from what iv seen a few years ago to now..

reply

I like horror films but I'm sort of partial to older ones. I'm not big on the newest trend, the gore and torture stuff. I haven't even seen any of the 'Hostel' or 'Saw' movies.

However, today I plan on watching 'Horror of Dracula' from 1958. Kind of shows you were I'm coming from. Not to say I don't dig stuff like '28 Days Later', for instance.

Having realized that whatever they may feel for each other can never truly work, Sally takes the money and leaves to start life anew - and Lou lets her. Lou then returns to Grace in Atlantic City to resume living out the rest of his life quietly. Chrissie presumably returns home to give birth to her child.

Sally goes to France imo. The movie made clear that her dream is Monte Carlo, and the audience sees her hearing some French talk on the radio in her last shot. And she probably feels better leaving the country now that she is linked to a crime.

Lou and Grace will have to move out of their apartment soon. They have money to do so. It’s unclear if the building that is being destroyed during the credits is the apartment where they lived. Even if that is their apartment, again, they have money; so they’ll be fine
