Unintentional slapstick?

There were a couple of slapstick-ish moments that really made me laugh. One was when the guy opened the gate that they went through and then after he closed it and was walking away, he slipped and almost fell. Another was when they were backing their Jeep looking car into a building and hit something, making them stop suddenly, causing their heads to jar like GM tests dummies!!! I had to rewind both parts!!!

Was the humor intentional?

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

I don't think so.

Hilarious, none the less!

Nope. It was intentional. Also that stupid phone call he gets, and he says it's not the clinic is intentional. When the writer falls in the mincer is also intentional. Everything is intentional. Excuse me, I just finished watching this film and I'm a bit disillusioned

I doubt these two instances were in the script, but since they were kept in the final film anyway... I guess that makes them sort of intentional in the end.

If they weren't intentional, I wonder what they thought about when they watched it afterward.
