Compared with the likes of ARMAGEDDON, this is a masterpiece.

OK, so it's a long way from being the best movie ever and even a long way from being the best disaster movie ever but any world where METEOR has 4.5 and ARMAGEDDON has 5.7 or something has clearly gone mad.

i saw this as a little kid and i remember laughing at how bad some of the effects looked. they say 7 years old will enjoy anything.
