I’ve seen it and we get more scenes of Kilgore which is a definite positive addition, however the other additional scenes kind of drag (especially the French Plantation). I’d suggest watching the Final Cut which leaves the additional Kilgore scenes in but reduces the other added scenes from the Redux version (the French Plantation scene has also been trimmed). The original is like 2 and a half hours, the Redux I think is 3 hours 20 minutes and the Final Cut is right around 3 hours.

The extra Kilgore scenes are unnecessary and make the character weaker. "Someday this war is gonna end" was a perfect exit line for Kilgore in the theatrical cut.

Ok to each his own. I thought they were hilarious
