I'm in my late 50's. As most people my age, we often wake up in the night. What disturbs me most is that I often wake up right around 3:15 in the early morning hours. Sometimes it's 5 or 10 minutes earlier. Never later. More often than not, I wake up and it is 3:15. I find this extremely disturbing.
I somehow remember reading something about that time in the book. Didn't George wake up at that same time each night he slept in that house? I confess that I do not believe these people..... it is just that I have read other things over the years about 3:15 AM. It is suppose to be either a time for death or a time for haunting.
Has anyone heard of this? What is the origin?
I cringe when I open my eyes at 3:15. I refuse to get out of bed until 4:00 before I will go to the bathroom. YES! I hold it!
Now that you have had a good laugh, please tell me more about 3:15... ?

Lol it's day 18 in the movie right now and just as it turned 3:15, i looked at the clock and it was 3:14am here. I remember they mentioned it in The Conjuring, but they referred to the doors banging as the mocking of the Holy Trinity. Wasn't sure about the time significance.

So I did more reading and what most said is what I read about. It's the hour at which God is furthest from us and 12 hours away from when Christ gave his life. I think I read that 3:15am is the proverbial Satanic hour. Note to self: 3:15am is creepy hour.
