The scene that tells us Mayor Vaughn voted in support of Brody...

Is that scene excluded from some versions of the film? I remember that Vaughn was the lone holdout in favor of Brody......but as many times as I’ve caught this movie on cable, I can’t recall the scene in which we’re made aware of this. Is it omitted from some versions??

I think I remember a bite taking place inside the courthouse and Mayor Vaughn casting the last vote.

It’s a deleted scene, you can see it on YouTube, but it may have appeared on some TV versions.
