in "reality" that's probably what would have happened.

Or the police searched for him, found him and he was locked up with Jason.

reply

Jason who?

reply

Priestly. Which would have ben pretty weird as Jason was only 9 at the time the movie came out. I mean a serial killer is one thing, but a child kidnapper (possible molester)?

reply

Agreed. I don't know what Jason Priestly has to do with Halloween and Michael Myers

reply

Exactly.

I like to think that the final shot -- that of his former home -- is where he bled out and died.

It was the first place he went to after his escape after all.

reply

I think he would have disappeared into the night and no one would know what happened to him.

reply

I'd agree. It's implied Michael is "the boogeyman" so there would probably never be any kind of body found. He'd vanish, then become even more of a local legend.

reply

He eventually killed everyone else in the world since he could not be stopped.

reply

He disappeared and went out stalking other people in other towns. He could be in your house right now! I love the idea that film implies he could be anywhere since it ends with all of the main locations of the movie.

reply

He went to the Boogie Man Clinic to recuperate and for some R & R.

reply

He disappeared into the night and was never seen again. No blood trail or body was ever found. Many people doubt Loomis even shot him. Some people even question his very existence. Maybe it was Loomis himself, or perhaps Laurie killed her friends, and staged the whole thing. And while Laurie and the kids would always insist that there was a man there who was trying to kill them, and it wasn't Dr. Loomis, some people will always be skeptical. But the town of Haddonfield will forever be linked with The Legend of Michael Myers.

reply

that's not bad.

reply

What about the testimony of Tommy and Lindsey?

reply

And while Laurie and the kids would always insist that there was a man there who was trying to kill them, and it wasn't Dr. Loomis, some people will always be skeptical.

reply

It would be unlikely that two kids with no connection to Loomis and not related to Laurie would be in on a murder conspiracy, though. The police might be skeptical of the "boogie man" claims of course.

reply

This guy gets it. ^^^

The lesser that is known….the more mystique there is. That’s what’s wrong with having a bunch of (crappy) sequels. They attempt to explain Michael Meyers. He SHOULDN’T be explained. He should forever remain a mystery…………just like The Boogeyman.
