Dudley Moore pissed me off...

in this film. I felt so bad for Goldie's character. She would run to him for help and he was to damn drunk to care. I felt like pulling my hair out. I would always scream at the TV saying, get sober you idiot. She needs help! Maybe that's why I can't watch Auther.

I thought he was hilarious, like when she asks for binoculars to look out the window with and he says, are you into that too?'

Nobody can be exactly me. Sometimes even I have trouble doing it.

His character was really strange, and I felt bad for Goldie's character as well, but I can't say Moore didn't amuse me.

Are you kidding!? His character is one of my favorites next to Burgess Meredith's.

It's a freaking comedy for chrissake! That is what makes it so damned funny.
She goes into a singles bar and picks up the first man she sees. He just thought he was getting lucky. The comic timing of him and Goldie is just genius!

YOU MADE ME PLAY SECOND BASE!

I like when he runs into her at the massage parlor. "I didn't do anything! I never get to do anything..."

It really isn't his fault. After all, Gloria never really tells him she is in danger or that she needs help! There's a total miscommunication here and that is what makes the scene so funny!

Why doesn't she simply tell him? Or better yet, just phone the police from the bar?
