I don't know about most of you guys, but I never, never, ever found Jennifer (Loni Anderson) the least bit attractive. I don't care for her Barbie Doll type face or body. I was always a Bailey fan. That cute, intellectual look with her glasses, always appealed to me even when I was a kid.
Give me Bailey anytime!

shareBailey all the way. I found her more attractive as a kid and I still feel so today. Certainly, Jennifer was also attractive, though. I never found Ginger alluring on Gilligan’s Island.

I had to look up a swimsuit pic of Loni and to my surprise, she was both lean and buxom, for some reason I remember her as much more "full figured".
Looking at the pictures what throws me off is mostly her styling -- that big, big blonde hair is really a dated look, although maybe it worked as a blonde bombshell look at the time, although I don't think you saw it even in Playboy models of the era. But some of it is her face, which I find a bit rounded/wide.
Bailey's styling is much more contemporary and timeless, but really its the narrower, finer facial features that give Bailey an edge.
Bailey was always one of my favs & now that you mention it, I totally had forgotten about Jan Smithers since then. What made me think of her was a “GetTV” post on Facebook mentioning her birthday & from there I learned that she did a photo shoot as a teen in 1966 which made the cover of Newsweek which sort of made her famous. It was for an article about teens in America, & the guys who did the article approached her on a California beach where they asked if she would like to be interviewed & have her photo taken.
She said “yes” & they shot a few photos, most notably the cover of her on the back of a motorcycle being driven by a guy friend of hers which became famous & it led Hollywood agents to track her down to ask if they could rep her. So yeah stuff like that does happen & the rest (eventually) is history. Anyway hope that you’re well Jan & staying safe.

Bailey. Loni just looked fake to me. Bailey is more natural and isn't trying to be hot.
