Did David ever win a fight?
I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I've been watching a lot of episodes on Netflix, and so far, I've never seen him win a fight.

shareNo, I'm afraid not!
It's a shame, since his friend Rocky from 'Final Round' could have shown him some basic defensive moves to block an attack, or disable an attacker, but for some reason David didn't seem interested. He could have prevented some transformations without getting angry, but too often became a punching bag for gangsters and punks.
He was a bit too kind-hearted for his own good at times...
Darn, that's not the answer I was hoping for....lol. I was thinking with all those seasons under his belt, there had to be at least one time he held his own without Hulking out.
On the positive side, I know that once he gets into a fight, I can expect a Hulk Out pretty soon.
I'd say that the closest he came was in the episode "Wildfire", just before his 2nd Hulk-out, he put up a fairly decent fight against a guy considerably bigger than himself....and later on, I believe "Sanctuary", he effectively blocked a punch thrown at him and slugged the opponent, only to be over powered by the opponent & accomplice.

If he did, that would kind of defeat the purpose of the Hulk, wouldn't it?...*LOL*
shareNot just by winning one fight against a nameless henchman or punk, no.

Not really.
I don't see how him being able to defend himself against random mooks would defeat the purpose of the Hulk.
Yes he did. In the episode "Terror in Times Square" (or "The Hulk Breaks Las Vegas") when he was being held by the bad guys, Banner tricks one of them into looking the other way. Then he kicks him in the crotch and gets away.

I would have thought that he would have tried to learn some basic self defence to prevent 'Hulking out' in the first place. I think you can fight without getting angry.
Is the room ready for Rose?
Ready for Ralph, Godley and Creme
The closest David has come to winning a fight was at the end of "Trial of the Incredible Hulk" (1989), when he pinned one of the villains from behind long enough for the other guy to knock him out with a vase. I thought there was going to be a Hulk-out instead.
shareWould it have made sense for David to lose some of those fights on purpose to unleash The Hulk?
Did he ever try anything like biofeedback, breathing exercises or meditation to control his temper?
David tried meditation by his friend Li Sung(from 'Another Path' & 'The Disciple')but it didn't seem to work;Li Sung dying ended any chance of that working, and David didn't seem interested in continuing it alone.
He should have learned Akkido, which is a purely defensive martial art.
no, there where moments he landed a good punch.
shareBesides "Sanctuary" I was delighted on how he handled himself against that crooked-azz deputy who maced him in the beginning on the episode, "Escape from San Marcos", which he was set up for murder by crooked cops.
sharePerhaps if David would learn to stop butting into other people's personal problems and getting on everyones nerve by being overly persistent in trying to make people do the right thing, he wouldn't get beat up all the time.
How would you people feel if some lone drifter tries to tell you how to live your life?
Question to AgentSparkyX: Did David look for trouble in episodes such as: "Escape from San Marcos", "Snare", "Married (1,2)", "Prometheus(1,2)", "Mystery Man(1,2)", "The Psychic and the Equinox? It seems that you FAILED to do your homework, DUMBAZZ!!!!!!
