campy almost comical. nothing special. reminded me of the campy Hammer films.

Nope. The atmosphere in this movie is phenomenal.

I really liked this movie until some really terrible special effects toward the end completely took me out of the film. Overall still a thumbs up but it definitely drops down a notch by the end.

Hownos, have you ever revisited this since your original post? If so, what rating do you give Suspiria? It’s definitely a 10/10 for me.
