Greatest movie song ever?
This is definitely one of the best movie songs ever. And the music starts at the perfect time, blending nicely with the film's final scene. I think this is the best part of the whole movie.

As a guy I see this is def a chick flick and not a really great movie in any shape or form. In fact it's pretty obnoxious overall. But the final scene, when the theme song kicks in, it's perfect! In fact, it's one of my favorite movie endings. It's too bad one has to wade thru an entire boring, mostly silly movie, to see such a wonderfull and romantic ending!
shareCompletely agree - though I think parts of the film are quite entertaining, and Quinn Cummings gave an outstanding performance for someone of her age at the time.
But yes, the song is so sweet, and Gates' vocals are romantic and sweet - the finale of the film is just so perfect, it all comes together.
Ranks right up there with The Way We Were.
shareNot a bad theme song, but a bit sappy and far from one of the best.
It doesn't hold a candle to The Magnificent Seven, Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001), Speak Softly Love (The Godfather), The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, As Time Goes By, Moon River, Singin' in the Rain, Mrs. Robinson, White Christmas, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, The Sound of Music, Suicide is Painless (M*A*S*H), Rock Around the Clock, Goldfinger, Man with a Harmonica (Once Upon a Time in the West), and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life (Life of Brian) just to name a few of the unforgettable classics.
