The eel bit on to her probing stick. The stick had a lanyard that was around her wrist. Thats why she couldn’t let go during the attack.

And the dude diving in the khakis was Romer Treece. He was a no nonsense, hard drinking tough guy who could care less about what he wore on a dive.
