There's some classics I still haven't seen, so their omission is due to access, not opinion. That said (in no particular order):

Gunfight at the OK Corral (Lancaster and Douglas)
My Darling Clementine
The Shootist
High Noon
Support Your Local Sheriff
Support Your Local Gunfighter
The Skin Game
Maverick
The Magnificent Seven
A Fistfull of Dollars
A Few Dollars more
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
Once Upon a Time in the West
My Name is Trinity
Trinity is Still My Name
Django
Cat Ballou
Tombstone
Bite the Bullet
Outlaw Josey Wales
High Plains Drifter
Pale Rider
Unforgiven
Rio Lobo
The Cowboys
The Professionals
My Name is Nobody
The Quick and the Dead
Quigley Down Under
Man From Snowy River
Sgt. Rutledge
Geronimo, An American Legend
The Gunfighter
Dances with Wolves
Blazing Saddles
Sam Whiskey
Hang "Em High
The Wild Bunch
A Big Hand for the Little Lady
There Was a Crooked Man
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Shane
The Ox-Bow Incident

To name a few. I still have a lot of John Wayne to see; I've seen far more of his war films than westerns.

For tv, it's Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Maverick, Have Gun, Will Travel; Lonesome Dove,The Wild Wild West, Adv. of Brisco County Jr., Wyatt Earp, F Troop (silly, but entertaining), Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid. I saw Branded as a little kid and a couple of episodes of The Rifleman; but, not enough to form an opinion.

I'm 48, though.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!

I'm glad to see that you have ' The Ox-Bow Incident ' on your list. I've probably seen it at least 25 times. It's my favorite western and one of my 10 favorite films. It's actually much more than a western, though. Here are some recommendations:

Red River ( 1948 ) ( highly recommended )
Angel and the Badman ( 1947 )
3:10 to Yuma ( 1957 )
Annie Oakley ( 1935 )
The Tall T ( 1957 )
7 Men From Now ( 1956 )
Nevada Smith ( 1966 )
Hombre ( 1967 )
Tribute To a Bad Man ( 1956 )
The Comancheros ( 1961 )
Cowboy ( 1958 )
The Culpepper Cattle Co. ( 1972 )
Winchester '73 ( 1950 )
Colorado Territory ( 1949 )
Day of the Outlaw ( 1959 )
Dodge City ( 1939 )
Shenandoah ( 1965 )
The Far Country ( 1954 )
The Fastest Gun Alive ( 1956 )
Heaven With a Gun ( 1969 )
The Sheepman ( 1958 )
Silver Lode ( 1954 )
Ride Beyond Vengeance ( 1966 )
The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid ( 1972 )
The Long Riders ( 1980 )
The Return of Frank James ( 1940 )
Last Train From Gun Hill ( 1959 )
The Ride Back ( 1957 )
Lawman ( 1971 )
The Naked Spur ( 1953 )
Night Passage ( 1957 )
Saddle the Wind ( 1958 )
One-Eyed Jacks ( 1961 )
Broken Trail ( 1961 ) ( highly recommended )
The Proud Ones ( 1956 )
Rancho Notorious ( 1952 )
Destry Rides Again ( 1939 )
Ride Lonesome ( 1959 )
Tall In the Saddle ( 1944 )
The Tin Star ( 1957 )

One other suggestion. The best Gunsmoke episode ( in my opinion, that is ) is available to view for free on YouTube. It's titled, ' The Gallows '. It's episode 22, of season 7. It makes me think of ' The Ox-Bow Incident ' in some ways. Enjoy. Steve
