were all the framed photos on their grand piano. Any piano player would want to prop open that lid to get a richer, clearer sound. But not so easy to do with all that clutter on top. And if you get to playing some forceful pieces, those stupid frames are going to rattle or collapse.

So in the middle of the night she POUNDS on the PIANO some classical piece of music because she's pissed about what he said to her (as her hubby puts a pillow over his head to block out the sound of her pounding on the Piano keys).
That would also be the time when those PHOTOS should have fallen down.
People forget that pianos are musical instruments, not pieces of furniture for piling stuff on.
