Gotta love when John Wayne opens the bottom of the mail box a bunch of the contents falls through the hole in the pavement into the sewer. I guess they weren't too concerned with whether any of that stuff was important and wouldn't get delivered.

Oh, it couldn't have been anything THAT important, in fact, it all magically disappeared in the next shot of the ground!

That was the first thing which went through my mind... all that mail going down the toilet!
