nudity
does this movie have nudity?
share[deleted]
There's a brief moment where a girl is changing her shirt in the background of a dimly lit room, but that's just fleeting. There's another scene in which a young man is seen mooning out the back window of a car.

Ginger, played by Melanie Mayron, briefly bares her breasts in a motel room. Harry sees this, and is slightly embarresed.

Do you have to know this before you will watch a movie?

You're such a prude. American, I presume? LOL
shareI have kids, and I like to know the "sex and violence" quota before watching a movie, as it determines when (and around who) I will eventually watch it.That's the wrong approach. The first question should be whether the subject matter is appropriate for children. This is an adult movie, nudity or not, and is simply not appropriate for kids. There is intelligent humor, funny situations, etc., but very serious issues are discussed, such as end-of-life, drug use, etc., etc.
The scene serves a purpose (not that there's anything wrong with gratuitous nudity). The girl, Ginger, and Harry are two generations apart in age, and in 1974 that was a good way to illustrate the fact: her casually changing in front of him, and his embarrassment.
Unless you remember that period, it's hard to convey what a palpable sense there was of the culture changing. The change was being driven by young people then; now it's driven by whatever makes money.
"The truth 24 times a second."
The scene also demonstrates the danger that teenage girl was putting herself in, with that lifestyle. She exposed herself to a strange man in a hotel room, in the middle of the night. With the wrong guy, she could very well be the victim of sexual assault.
It's like when the daughter in Chicago says, "She might run into loose men." That's why the audience could understand the decision to take her to a commune in Colorado, with the son
Yes, there was nudity. Tonto was unclothed for the entire film.
