Racial Slurs
I was feeling comfortable with this movie until racial slurs were used by one of the corrupted cops to Serpico. It didn't say anything about it in the keywords either.

shareGo watch the Andy Griffith Show, then.

Andy Griffith Show is pretty racist as well. Where are the black people?
sharePeople were still using racial slurs on broadcast television well into the 90s, so hearing them in an R-rated movie from the 70s isn't that big of a deal.
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."
what about asians? there are no asians in mayberry. are you saying that blacks are more important than other races?
shareBecause there are no black people that is racist? Please go to sleep!
shareLisa, perhaps you might be more 'comfortable' watching a romantic comedy staring Harry Connick Jr. Maybe the movie should have portrayed a crude, and corrupted cop unrealisticly, and just had him say lovely, non-offensive things to prevent anyone from feeling uncomfortable, right? Don't make it true to reality- scrub it for anything someone might find unpleasant.
Lisa, my dear delicate little flower, next time you have an original thought, do the world a favor- just let it go, and go bake some cookies or something.
