DID THIS MOVIE SCARE YOU AS A KID?
you are not alone! http://www.kindertrauma.com/?p=150
shareUh YEAH!!!! I saw it as a re-run, in 1974 or 1975. I was 5 or 6 and this movie totally freaked me out. Gawker.com had a snippet of this movie as I had forgotten the title and it totally brings me back to that time my grandparents let me watch it
shareI am with the rest of you.
I saw it when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me.
I did not want to go to sllep becuse I thought I would turn into a snake.
*laugh*
I was older when I saw this, but I still enjoyed it. It was creepy because of how the victim is turned.
If we can save humanity, we become the caretakers of the world
Wouldn't know. Saw it as a 36 year old this year! ;-)
shareIt scared the ever loving sh!t outta me!
To say the least, it's left a seared mark on my brain that is still there!
I was born in '82 and I saw this when I was about 6-7 years old. The cinematography and who could forget the metamorphosis scene!?
It gives me shivers *still* at 34 years old. I never get scared by *any* horror film, with the exception of "The Exorcist". I don't scare very easily.
I haven't seen this film ever since that first viewing and I can *still* remember that particular scene!
I can barely recall *anything* from that age, yet I can still remember *this*!
Man, oh man....

Mischief. Mayhem. Soap.
Nope, because I saw it when I was 29. However, if i saw it as a kid, it would probably have scared the crap outta me.
shareI was 8 when it came out and it gave me a good scare. The more adult scenes went right over my head, but the spooky scenes really got me. It’s a well made morality tale.
shareThe snake makeup weirded me out a little. Mostly though I thought it was laughable, even as a kid.
