Mark ends up in the past at the hockey game and finds his daughter , ecstatic he grabs her and they are thrown back to the present in Venice.

The daughter is freaked out and runs away, running throughout the various buildings which earlier Mark sees.. he runs after her following around finally cornering her sobbing in a disused misty church.. There he encounters his future self.. "you can't have her, she's mine' future Mark says, they fight until future mark kills earlier mark. He quickly buries his previous self in a makeshift grave in the church , then tells his distraught daughter 'cmon honey, lets find mom'
