They look very similar, I agree. I will say however that Brewster is a better actress though. Not great, but better than MacGraw, whom I find merely tolerable.

I'd say McGraw and Brewster has similar coloring and body type but the similarities end there. I don't even think they go for the same types of roles.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

Both thin, both shapeless. Of course, that's a vast majority of Hollywood "actresses."

Well...on the original point, they look enough alike to be LOOSELY grouped together. (I mean, Ms. Brewster looks more like MacGraw than, say, Reese Witherspoon does.)

MacGraw was a very limited actress, and sometimes just sometimes blank and bad. i think she's good in JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT (1980), though.

I concur with Vasty above. Angie looks like Ali: thicker dark brown hair and full lips.And plus she has a tan skin. On the other hand, Jordana does resemble Ali, but she has thin lips, thin dark brown hair with pale skin.
