I'VE JUST WATCHED THIS MOVIE AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IN SUCH NONSENSE (I'M THINKING IN OTHER MORE SPECIFIC OFFENSIVE ADJECTIVES BUT LET'S BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL THOSE WHO LIKE THE MOVIE) METRES OF CELULLOID HAVE BEEN WASTED.
I'M REALLY SHOCKED, THE FIRS HALF OF THE MOVIE IT'S A HAL HARTLEY WANNABE, BUT THE REST IT'S JUST CRAP. I CAN'T STOP THINKIN' WHY A MAN OF SO MUCH TALENT AS ALAN ARKIN EMBARKED IN SUCH A DISASTER.
This is an example of how men don't want to be treated by their women, the scene with her telling him how she wants to mold him and change him into what she wants in her man is what is wrong with society. Who wants to grow up and become the person they are just to have their wife want to change them? Shouldn't you marry someone who you already like who and how they are and not want anything different? Do women really think men want another mother instead of a wife? Personally I thought this movie was terrible and if there are women out there like that I would avoid them like the plague.
