5. Sudden Impact (To this day I cannot get over what a mess that movie is. The script is such an awkward jumble of ideas and scenes, with barely any narrative thread holding them together. There are three plotlines, at two of them are completely dropped halfway between the movie. It’s like someone said, “Okay, I want this scene and this scene and this scene” and then the writer had to go off and put them all into one script…but he failed.)
The ENFORCER?! It doesn't even have a clever quip! I'd swap Sudden Random Violence (the parody title in national lampoon) for Enforcer....
Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

shareI like them all a lot, but the profanity and the nudity was not needed and they would be even better.
1. Dirty Harry-Great from beginning to end. Andrew Robinson and Clint make this movie work.
2. Dead Pool-Love this film as well. Most people put this near the bottom. Again, love the cast and the story.
3. Sudden Impact-This movie has a special place in my heart, because the scenes on the beach were filmed in Santa Cruz, where I vacationed for most of the years of my life. Also they climatic scene on the Boardwalk was wonderful.
4. The Enforcer-Good film. Tyne Daly does a fine job as the partner.
5. Magnum Force-Good cast, but a lot of uneeded profanity hurt the film for me. Loved David Soul, Robert Urich, Kip Niven & Tim Matheson. Did not care for Hal Holbrook at all. Also would have been nice to have a bigger part for the main four vigilante cops.
All in all, all 5 films are a good to watch. My top 2 are a must see over and over.
