[Lucinda kills a farmer and the editor dissolves to Melissa and her "parents" eating dinner, talking, and laughing]

Mike: Oh yeah that happened to me on a date once. Grandma came out and killed a guy...….. Dated that girl for awhile.

Mike as Jody's inner monologue: Hmmmmm pretty girl says she's a witch, Grandma just killed a cop, locked in the barn. Something just isn't right.
