Out of curiosity....

What film do you regard as your favorite 'love story'?

reply

(500) Days of Summer (2009) is like the Good Bad Ugly of Romance genre ...

Before Sunset (2004) is also a very realistic and heart touching story ...

Lover Story (1970) also now one of my favorites ...

When Harry Met Sally

Other than that, You've Got Mail (another Meg Ryan movie). Very few love story movies interest me. I like realism and hate overtly romantic ideas of love.

There’s no one on IMDB I care enough for to use spell check- suck it grammar Nazis

"The Way We Were"- I cry every time
Someone said "I Walk the Line"- I love the movie for the music, but never really thought about the love story angle
Also, the older I get the more I appreciate "The Notebook"

Only a couple other people listed Titanic. I can't believe it.

Titanic is the greatest love story put on film and the 1.8 billion dollar BO proves that I'm not the only one who thinks so.
