Anyone can recommend similar movies to me please? Doesn't have to be exactly similar, could have same feeling or similar themes, or any stuff that comes to your mind that you would recommend.

Short Cuts (1993) similar to Grand Canyon also long.
You have probably seen it but Easy Rider (1969)
Emperor of the North (1973)- Lee Marvin, best movie ever made about hobos. I recommend this one. (Ok not at all similar to The Swimmer)

shareI'd recommend Seconds & Save the Tiger as they also deal with American male midlife, the emptiness of the American Dream, and the despair of realizing that your life has been devoid of real meaning, that you bought into illusions that promised to make you happy but instead destroyed you.
