What's so terrible about it?
What's so terrible about this film? Does everyone have to agree with the critics? The scene in which Valerio shouts "Pity? Pity? I love you! I love you!" made me cry. The script is believable. The performances are fine. The music is beautiful. The only stupid thing about this film is Caroline Mortimer, who - with her positively terrible teeth, plays Maggie, who is clearly supposed to be a very rich and elegant woman. Now that's ridiculous! But no critic I've read mentioned this.
